Date: 2008-04-23 07:54 pm (UTC)I love your style! It is very original. Yes, I am one of those (apparently) lame anime fanatics that loves all anime style art, but before that, I was all about American comic book style. Your style is just so YOU. That's not something many artists can boast these days (not even me T__T).
I don't think that being repetitive is bad (cause honestly, I know from experience that it is VERY difficult). I don't think your ruining any fandom (because fandoms exist for the reason of expressing your unique love of characters and such). People are entitled to their opinions, but honestly, sometimes I think they take the fandoms just a tad bit too seriously. When I get a nasty or silly comment on some fan art I've done, I usually just chuckle about it (cause they get sooo worked up about the silliest stuff!), and move on with my day.
Let's see...can I offer any constructive crit? Hmmm...only thing I can think of is making your females a little softer. You draw absolutely *amazing* muscle tone *is jealous*, but sometimes the women end up looking just slightly masculine. (Though your Chicklok art ROCKS MY WORLD!!! so, no complaints there) Truthfully, though, I love all of your art just fine the way it is! <3
